On PC, the game has been played by over 10 million people, making it one of the most popular sci-fi games on the platform right now. Its great that 343 continues to update Halo: The Master Chief Collection, even as the studio prepares Halo: Infinite for release. This makes it one of the best Xbox One shooter games available and one that you definitely shouldn't overlook. It includes a custom game browser for Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 3, the return of the classic HUD to Halo: Combat Evolved with 4K support and a toggle in settings, and, interestingly, new campaign collectibles in the Halo 3 campaign (343 didnt say what exactly these are). If you don't have the MCC I highly recommend you get it as it combines all the pre-Xbox One Halo games into one and upgrades them with modern features like UHD 4K support, Support for 120 FPS, adjustable field of view and more for just $ 40. Also, keep an eye out for our coverage of the Halo Infinite beta schedule so you know when each in-game test is expected to take place.
